The bucks shown on this page were harvested on the Llano Hills Ranch during the 2007- 2008 Deer Hunting Season.
We offer trophy hunting for mature bucks, management bucks and doe on a 700 acre high fenced ranch.
There are a very limited number
of mature bucks available for harvest.
Our deer are protein fed spring thru summer. There are no "genetically enhanced" deer at the ranch. All of our bucks are native Hill Country deer that
have been managed for quality thru a harvest and feeding program.
Book a hunt at LLANO HILLS RANCH and
you will be very satisfied with the results.
Base Price of the Hunt
The hunt is 4 days with lodging included.
The hunter's cabin has a full bath and kitchen for cooking. Restaurants are close by for eating out.
The base cost of the hunt is $ 1,000.00
per person. In addition, there is also a harvest fee for each buck and the cost varies according to Gross B&C Score.
Harvest Fees
Up to 139 7/8 Gross B&C = $ 1,000.00
140 to 149 7/8 Gross B&C = $ 1,500.00
150 to 159 7/8 Gross B&C = $ 2,000.00
160 to 169 7/8 Gross B&C = $ 2,500.00
170 + Gross B&C = $ 3,500.00
After 4 days of hunting, the day rate is
$ 250.00 per day.
The day rate is accumulated and credited toward the harvest fee.

MANAGEMENT BUCK HUNTS
Our management bucks are going to be mostly big, mature 8 pointers and some 9 pointers.
These bucks will either be old age, narrow width, short tine length or have antler characteristics that are good, but will never be true trophy quality bucks. This is why they are priced significantly less.
All management hunts are one on one guided unless the hunter has a lot of experience in aging deer alive and knows what the standards are for a management buck harvest. The management buck hunt is $ 1000 base price for four days
and one management buck is included in the price. Lodging provided.
BUCKS THAT GOT AWAY - Both of the bucks shown above still live on the ranch. These game camera photos were taken in October and December of 2007. Both of these bucks will be shooters for 2008. Our Hunting Guides Work For You
Your hunt will be either one on one guided or semi-guided, depending on your hunting experience level. We are serious about harvesting the right deer, so harvest mistakes are something we try to avoid.
We will do everything possible to make sure you have an enjoyable and successful hunt.
You will be hunting from strategically placed stands as well as doing some rattle and stalk hunting. We corn the roads and do some foot walking during the day too. It is amazing how many good bucks will be seen eating corn on the roads during day times when hunters are not accustomed to seeing deer.
We know the terrain and where the big bucks live on the ranch. We do extensive game camera photo work to identify trophy bucks and management bucks.
DOE HUNTS
I offer doe hunts early in October at the ranch and up until November 15. The doe hunts are $ 120 per day to hunt
with a harvest fee of $ 50. Lodging is included with the doe hunt. The success rate is high with the doe hunt.
Almost 100% for one doe per day. You will be hunting out of stands over feeders.
