Mexico Deer Hunting
El Rancho Rio Robles

The ranch has some of the best trophy deer hunting in Mexico.
We are high fenced on three sides of the ranch. We border the
Rio Grande and that side is not fenced.

The ranch has native plant species that are excellent for the
nutritional requirements of white-tailed deer.  We also feed
supplemental protein to the deer in spring through summer.

All of our deer are native deer. We have not brought in genetically enhanced deer from the outside. The quality of the deer on the ranch is excellent. Mature bucks can score as high
as 200 Gross B&C points.

We will limit the number of mature trophy bucks harvested on
the ranch every year. In the 2008 - 2009 upcoming season,
there will only be 12 mature bucks harvested.

We will only host 4 deer hunters on the ranch at one time.
If you have a group of 5 or 6 that all know one another,
we will make an exception. The available dates for deer hunting
are listed at the bottom of this page.

We will be offering some management buck hunts as well.

We have comfortable stands on the ranch placed at strategic locations near our feeding stations. These locations are the best for seeing large numbers of deer. The hunting blinds are built
so that two adult men can comfortably fit inside.

We have quality, brand name rifles at the ranch for your use
during your deer hunt. All of our rifles have 3 X 9 Leopold Scopes on them. We have .270 Short Magnum and .300 Short Magnum Rifles in 700 BDL Remington Models. Having rifles at the ranch streamlines the process of hunting at the ranch.
All you have to do is pass through Customs and go to the ranch to hunt. Very simple and easy compared with the checking in
of the guns and the potential hassles of that process.
You will shoot your rifles the day before you hunt to make sure
that the scopes are on and you feel comfortable with your gun.

We will handle all Mexican Hunting License Applications.
We will need a copy of your Birth Certificate, Drivers License
or Passport to obtain a hunting license for you.  The cost of the Hunting License and Deer Permit are included in the price of the hunt.

The cost of the hunt is $ 5,500 per person. This includes 5 days of hunting, lodging, three meals per day, open bar, service hostess staff, Mexican Hunting License, Mexican Deer Permit, Ranch Transportation and Guide Service.

We can also provide transportation from San Antonio International Airport to the ranch with advance notice.
