fabric on the palm and fingers called "Keprotec".
Keprotec is made by Schoeller Fabrics of Switzerland,
the world leader in abrasion resistant fabrics.

Keprotec fabric is 25% Dupont Kevlar, which is the fiber
used in making bulletproof vests. This tough, protective fabric
is flexible and has excellent grip, even in cold temperatures.
Keprotec fabric has been tested in government labs to prove
the abrasion and cut resistant qualities.

Construction of the Snow Raider Snowboard Glove

The outer shell on the backhand is Schoeller Dynatec and DuPont Cordura 500 denier fabric. The silver fabric is the
Dynatec and the black fabric is the Cordura.

Beneath the outer shell layer is a layer of Taslan nylon fabric
laminated with 3 mm of foam. Under the Taslan fabric layer
is Thinsulate 100 insulation and it is laminated to a soft,
brushed nylon lining.

The Quick Strap Gauntlet has been designed for easy entry
and exit. The gauntlet is big enough to put your jacket sleeve
inside and strap it down or you can strap it down and then
put your jacket sleeve over the gauntlet. There is a band
of anti-slip fabric on the inside of the gauntlet that helps
when putting on your gloves.

The temerature range of the Snow Raider Snowboard Glove is 10F to 45F. Below 10F,
you should wear a thin glove liner to increase
the protection from the cold temperatures.

I also recommend the use of Scotchgard spray fabric treatment for the backhand side of the gloves. Scotchgard is available at many stores
and using it on the gloves will increase the resistance to water and melting snow.

For best results, apply the treatment 3 times in 8 hours and make sure you allow enough time in between applications for the silicone spray to dry completely. Re-apply as needed.
